What This Tool Does
Anagram examples show words that share exactly the same letters in different arrangements. STONE and NOTES are anagrams — both use S,T,O,N,E once each. LISTEN and SILENT are anagrams — both use L,I,S,T,E,N once each. Classic examples are useful for understanding anagram structure and building game vocabulary.
The solver below finds anagram examples for any word you enter. Switch to Exact mode and enter any word — the solver returns its complete anagram family, the full set of verified dictionary words sharing those exact letters.

Common Mistakes to Avoid
Thinking all anagram examples are common words. Complete anagram families include common words alongside less-familiar Scrabble words. REMAST (in the MASTER family) and RECTA (in the CARET family) are valid Scrabble words that may be unfamiliar — they are correct anagram examples, not errors.
Confusing anagrams with scrambles. A scramble is any random letter rearrangement. An anagram is a scramble that produces a valid dictionary word. STONE has 120 possible scrambles but only 5 that are valid anagrams.
