Wordle Helper Anagram
Find Your Wordle Answer From Confirmed Letters
After each Wordle guess, enter your confirmed letters (from green and yellow tiles) and find every valid 5-letter word that could be the answer. Use ? for unknown letter positions. The solver shows all valid candidates — position filtering is your job using Wordle's colour feedback. Free, no signup.
What This Tool Does
The Wordle Helper Anagram finds every 5-letter word matching your confirmed Wordle letter clues. Green tiles give you confirmed letters in confirmed positions; yellow tiles give you confirmed letters in wrong positions. Enter both types — the solver shows all 5-letter words using those letters.
Letter-position filtering (excluding words where yellow letters appear in their wrong position) requires manual checking against the Wordle colour feedback. The solver provides the candidate set; Wordle's position clues let you narrow it further.
Who Should Use This?
How the Solver Works
Enter all confirmed Wordle letters (green = correct letter correct position; yellow = correct letter wrong position). The solver finds every 5-letter word using any subset that includes your confirmed letters. Adding ? covers unconfirmed letter positions.
IRATE returns 3 verified 5-letter words using those exact letters: IRATE, TIARE (valid Collins word), and their other anagrams. RAISE has a different family. Entering IRATE in subset mode with additional letters shows more candidates.
Verified Examples
| Input | Results (verified) | Count |
|---|---|---|
| CRANE | CRANE, NACRE — 5-letter words (complete from those letters) | 2 |
| IRATE | IRATE, TIARE — verified 5-letter anagrams of I,R,A,T,E | 2 |
| RAISE | ARISE, RAISE, SERAI — 5-letter anagram family of R,A,I,S,E | 3 |
Results are all valid 5-letter words using your confirmed letters. Cross-reference with Wordle's position clues to identify the answer.

Tips for Better Results
Common Mistakes to Avoid
Not adding ? for unconfirmed positions. With only 2 confirmed Wordle letters and no ?, the solver shows only 5-letter words using exactly those 2 letters — missing many candidates that include other letters in the unconfirmed positions. Add ? for each unknown position.
Not eliminating yellow-tile position candidates. The solver shows all words using your confirmed letters but does not apply position constraints. A yellow tile for A in position 2 means the answer has A but not in position 2 — eliminate solver results with A in position 2 manually.
